Environmental Responsibility

At Biomecânica, we understand that innovating in healthcare also means acting with environmental responsibility. Our commitment goes beyond the implants we manufacture, extending to industrial processes, resource management, and the environmental impact generated by our operations.

We adopt industrial practices aligned with sustainability, with rigorous waste control, environmentally appropriate material disposal, and continuous optimization of production processes to reduce waste.

Materials such as cardboard and plastic generated in our operations are fully directed to recycling. In 2025, nearly 7 tons of waste were sent for recycling, reinforcing our commitment to the circular economy and the reduction of environmental impacts. Regarding waste classified as hazardous, 100% receives treatment and final disposal through licensed and properly qualified companies.

Our environmental management is integrated into the quality system, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting an internal culture based on responsibility, ethics, and respect for the future. All waste leaving the company is accompanied by a Waste Transport Manifest (MTR), ensuring traceability and full compliance with CETESB requirements.

We believe that true innovation happens when technology, healthcare, and sustainability move forward together. Caring for people’s movement also means caring for the environment in which we live.
